Japan Food Trips is the brainchild of Stephanie Haddad, an expat from Los Angeles who is passionate about food and travel. Before landing in Tokyo, Stephanie worked in Television for over 10 years as an editor so her passion lies somewhere between food and storytelling which perfectly blends together on her food trips. After spending ample time trying all the hidden gems she could find on her own and getting to know many restauranteurs, chefs, and sommeliers, Stephanie began touring friends around who would come out to visit. Over time she found a passion for showing people the real hidden local gems because she believes there's no better way to explore a new place than with a local who knows the best stuff and has a passion for it. Stephanie believes food can bring people together in magical ways and for her, it's exactly what integrates culture, history, and a mutual fondness between people - thus the reason Japan Food Trips was born.
