The tours that we off at Japan Food Trips are a passionate endeavor to share a deep love for Japanese food and culture through the lens of a local.

Since 2016, Japan Food Trips’ founder, Stephanie Haddad, has dedicated endless hours studying and exploring the culinary world of Japan. Stephanie has written many articles that are focused on Japan’s vast food scene, and is also an accredited professional sake sommelier. After developing close relationships with many of Japan’s influential restauranteurs, chefs, and sommeliers, Stephanie realized her strong passion for sharing this remarkable culinary world with others, which is the very reason Japan Food Trips was born.

There really is no better way to explore a new place than through the lens of a local who knows all the best kept secrets.
